## What Performax is

Performax is a **trade journaling and analytics platform** for recording, organizing, and reviewing your own trading history. It includes tools to visualize past performance and configure personal rules and reminders.

## What Performax is not

Performax is **not**:

* a financial advisor or investment advisor;
* a registered broker, dealer, or asset manager;
* a source of investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice;
* a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any digital asset, security, derivative, or financial instrument;
* a signal service or copy-trading platform;
* a guarantee of past, present, or future performance.

## No advice

Nothing displayed in the application or in this documentation, including dashboard widgets, analytics views, AI-generated insights, coach rule defaults, briefings, example values, or any text describing typical metric ranges, constitutes investment advice or a personalized recommendation.

All numerical thresholds shown by default (risk percentages, drawdown caps, ratio interpretations, etc.) are illustrative parameters of the software, not suggested values for your trading. The values you set in the app are entirely your own choice and responsibility.

## AI outputs

The AI Assistant analyzes patterns in **your own historical trade data** and produces text describing those patterns. AI outputs:

* can be incomplete, biased, or factually incorrect;
* describe past behavior and do not predict future outcomes;
* must not be relied on for trading decisions;
* are not personalized financial advice.

## Risk

Trading digital assets and derivative products involves substantial risk, including the risk of losing more than you invest. You may lose the entirety of your capital. Past performance shown in Performax, your own or anyone else's, is not indicative of future results.

You are solely responsible for:

* the trades you place on any exchange;
* the API keys you connect to Performax and the permissions you grant them;
* the rules and thresholds you configure in the app;
* any decisions you make after reviewing data displayed by Performax.

## Third-party services

Performax integrates with third-party exchanges via their public APIs to read your trading data. Performax does not control those exchanges and is not responsible for outages, data inaccuracies, account restrictions, or other issues originating from them. You remain bound by your exchange's terms of service.

Before making any financial decision, consider consulting a qualified, licensed financial advisor in your jurisdiction. Tax, legal, and regulatory implications of trading vary by country, Performax does not assist with any of these.
